Food Production

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Produce product in accordance with all company health, safety, and quality standards
  • Use slicer, grater, and other manufacturing equipment daily
  • Package finished product in accordance with company standards
  • Complete daily tasks as directed by supervisor
  • Keep work space clean in accordance with supervisor direction and daily cleaning logs
  • Pack products for shipping in accordance to company standards

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication skills
  • Willingness to obtain food handler's card
  • Understands weights and measurements
  • Detail oriented and works with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work at a pace to meet production goals
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Manufacturing or Food Handling Experience will get preference

Production Shift Lead

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a positive work environment that supports a high team member morale
  • Produce product in accordance with all company health, safety, and quality standards
  • Accurately weigh out ingredients for production
  • Use machine safely and ensure safety of team members when using equipment.
  • Assign staff to ensure that production quotas are met for finished goods inventory
  • Enforces and updates procedures and process specifications
  • Assure attainment of business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product standards
  • Assist manager in providing team member coaching and mentoring to help with team member development
  • Balances quality, productivity, cost and safety with manager support to achieve positive results
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Assist in use of slicer, grater, and other manufacturing equipment daily
  • Package finished product in accordance with company standards

Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • 3 years supervisory experience in a food-processing organization
  • General knowledge of sanitation/procedures
  • Knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations to include product and associate safety, product quality (success rates), throughput delivery and cost control (minimizing downtime and waste, optimizing yield)
  • Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work
